The King has been dethroned. For the last year, if you asked me for the best Quest 3 controller grips, I would have instantly said the AMVR Pro Extended Grips. They were comfortable, they made the tiny controllers usable for big hands, and the straps were excellent. But even with their clever battery door design,…
I honestly thought these would be a gimmick. When I first heard about the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, I rolled my eyes. I didn’t expect to be writing a positive review, but here we are. Six months later, these are the only gadget I actually panic if I leave at home. They haven’t just replaced…
The head strap wars begin! Ask any new Meta Quest 3 owner, and the first piece of advice you’ll get is to replace the stock head strap. It’s the most essential first accessory. With so many options on the market, how do you know which one to choose? I’m taking on that question by reviewing…
Stop dealing with your PSVR2 slipping off your face. For the last year, if you wanted to fix the PSVR2’s tiny sweet spot or comfort issues, there was only one real recommendation: the Globular Cluster CMP2. It has long been the undisputed king of comfort mods. But recently, AMVR dropped a competitor: the CM1 Comfort…
Don’t be like me and almost break your expensive VR headset in a normal backpack. If you plan to take your headset with you on the go, you need to protect your hardware with a dedicated hardshell case. Whether it is for travel or just heading to a friend’s house, throwing a $500 device in…
My quest to find the perfect VR controller grips for the Meta Quest 3 continues. Honestly, the default wrist straps are a flimsy, Wii-era throwback that I’d rather leave in 2006. We’ve already established that the AMVR Pro Grips are a top-tier, premium option. But on my search, I kept seeing another contender show up:…
Let’s be honest: the default VR controller wrist straps are terrible. They’re flimsy, annoying, and feel like a throwback to the Wii days, forcing you to constantly live in fear of launching a controller across the room. I was tired of it, so I’ve been testing out dedicated hand grips for my Quest 3. These…
Finding the perfect charging dock for a modded Meta Quest 3 can feel like an impossible task. Add a comfort strap, a new facial interface, or controller grips, and suddenly most standard docks become expensive paperweights, unable to accommodate the new shapes or connect properly. That’s where the AMVR CD2 Magnetic Fast Charging Dock aims…
While the PlayStation VR2 is one of the more comfortable headsets on the market, it suffers from a frustrating tendency to slip during gameplay. For a headset with Fresnel lenses, maintaining the perfect visual “sweet spot” is critical for clarity, and that clarity is lost as the PSVR2 slides down your face. The Globular Cluster…
The Quest 3 is great, but the stock facial interface holds it back. With stiff and uncomfortable padding, a rough fabric that makes contact with your face, and a significant issue with light leakage, there is much to be desired. An aftermarket facial interface quickly becomes a needed upgrade. Enter the Globular Cluster F3 V3….
