The Ultimate Guide to Meta Quest 3 Accessories

The Quest 3 is an amazing piece of hardware right out of the box, but a few key upgrades can transform it from a good device into a truly great one. From extending your playtime with a better battery to dramatically improving long-session comfort, the right accessories make all the difference.

As a professional in the XR space and a dedicated VR enthusiast, I’ve tested countless products to find what truly works. This guide cuts through the noise, skipping the cheap knock-offs and unnecessary gadgets to bring you only the best, most essential upgrades that I use and recommend personally.

This is a living guide. I’ll be constantly updating it with new recommendations as I find accessories that meet the MonarchXR standard. For now, these are the must-have products I believe every Quest 3 owner should consider to get the absolute most out of their headset.

BOBOVR M3 Pro Battery Headstrap

The BOBOVR M3 Pro solves the Quest 3’s comfort and battery issues in one go, with a halo design that removes facial pressure and hot-swappable batteries for virtually unlimited playtime

Of all of the headstraps I have tried, I keep coming back to this one as my absolute favorite!

Globular Cluster F3 VR Facial Interface

The Globular Cluster F3 Facial Interface is the perfect interface replacement for every Quesr 3 owner. With 3 separate padding materials, modular magnetic attachments like a nose guard, and spacers for glasses, the customization options are insane.

Build your perfect combo and experience the ultimate VR comfort with this one.

AMVR Pro Extended Controller Grips

I’ve let my controller slip from my hands one too many times, but the flimsy stick wrist straps are uncomfortable. Hand grips have always been my favorite type of controller grips, thanks to the speed at which you can take them off and put them on.

The best controller grips I have used to date are the AMVR Pro Grips. They are comfortable, have easy access to the batteries, and the extended version helps with hand cramping!

AMVR CD2 Charging Dock

While I wouldn’t call this one a must-have like the other accessories I have reviewed above, it is certainly a nice-to-have.

If you are someone who likes charging docks for your devices, the AMVR CD2 is the best option on the market. It is the only charging dock I have tested that works with MOST third party accessories. Warning though, this WONT work with most controller grips, not even AMVR’s own listed above!
