Price History

The Quest 3S is Meta’s budget headset, so discounts tend to arrive as gift-card bundles or $50-off promos rather than permanent price cuts. If you are not in a hurry, watch for Prime Day / Black Friday.

Watch Out For

  • Gray-market sellers: on Amazon and eBay, stick to listings sold and shipped by Amazon (or buy from Meta direct) — third-party sellers can ship international models with warranty issues.
  • Too-cheap listings: a Quest 3S listed far below $349.99 new is almost certainly a scam or a refurb being sold as new.
  • Refurbished vs. new: refurbished units from Meta can be a legit bargain, but confirm the unit is actually refurbished and covered by a warranty — do not pay new prices for one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the cheapest place to buy the Meta Quest 3S?

Meta, Amazon, and Best Buy usually list the Quest 3S at the same price, so check all the rows in the table above and buy wherever it’s cheapest or in stock on the day you order — prices change often.

Does the Meta Quest 3S ever go on sale?

Yes. As Meta’s budget headset, the 3S tends to get $50-off promos or gift-card bundles rather than big permanent cuts. Prime Day and Black Friday are the best times to look.

Should I buy the Quest 3S from Amazon or direct from Meta?

Both are safe. Amazon offers Prime shipping and easy returns, Meta direct gives you official warranty support, and Best Buy is great if you want in-store pickup or price matching. Avoid third-party marketplace sellers.

Does code MXR work on the Meta Quest 3S?

We don’t have a verified MXR discount for the Quest 3S at Meta, Amazon, or Best Buy, so don’t pay extra expecting one — we’ll update this guide if a creator code becomes available.
