Price History

Pimax headsets rarely see deep permanent cuts, but limited promos of $100–$200 off do appear around product launches and holiday sales. If you are not in a hurry, watch for Prime Day / Black Friday.

Watch Out For

Variant confusion: the Crystal Super comes in multiple configurations (display and tracking options) — confirm the exact SKU before you buy, especially on Amazon.
Gray-market sellers: Pimax sells direct, so Amazon listings from unknown third-party sellers may be unauthorized imports with no valid warranty.
Too-cheap listings: a Crystal Super listed far below $1,599 new is almost certainly a scam.
Refurbished vs. new: confirm any discounted unit is covered by Pimax’s warranty — do not pay near-new prices for a used headset.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the cheapest place to buy the Pimax Crystal Super?

Right now the cheapest verified price is $1,599 on sale at the Pimax Store (down from $1,799). Amazon carries it too, but prices there rarely beat Pimax direct — compare both rows in the table above before ordering.

Does the Pimax Crystal Super ever go on sale?

Occasionally. Pimax runs limited $100–$200 promos around launches and holidays rather than frequent discounts. If you’re not in a hurry, Prime Day and Black Friday are the best times to watch.

Should I buy the Crystal Super from Amazon or direct from Pimax?

We recommend buying direct from Pimax as the primary option — you get the full variant lineup, official warranty, and direct support. Amazon is a fine backup for fast shipping, but confirm the exact variant and that the listing is sold by Amazon.

Does code MXR work on the Pimax Crystal Super?

We don’t have a verified MXR discount for the Crystal Super at Pimax or Amazon, so don’t pay extra expecting one — we’ll update this guide if a creator code becomes available.
