What we think the upgrades mean
Short version: the spec sheet tells a clear story, but specs are not the full story. Here is what we think each upgrade means in practice, before we go hands-on.
Battery life
Battery life is a small upgrade over Gen 2, but considering battery has been one of the biggest struggles for Ray-Ban Meta, any improvement is welcome!
Camera and video
No real changes on the camera this time around. Gen 2 was already great, but I wished for better low light performance.
The Meta AI action button
I was really jealous of the Meta Glasses having a custom button, seeing it appear on Gen 3 is a nice surprise.
Styles and price
It sucks to see Headliner and Skyler not get a Gen 3 upgrade yet, but the classic Aviators getting the Meta upgrade are sure to impress!
